Background
Reproductive Sciences is a broad area that encompasses clinical reproduction, including assisted reproductive technology or ART (often referred to as “embryology”) laboratories. The field of assisted reproductive technology is now more than 30 years old, having its beginnings in 1978 following the birth of the first baby by in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo transfer (ET) in Great Britain.
