 Talking About ART

ASRM Meeting News: Better decision-making tools are on the horizon for both ART embryologists and patients. As embryologists, we are always looking for those new lab advances that will allow us to increase our pregnancy rates. But even in the best IVF cycles when using state-of-the-art equipment, QCed supplies and highly trained technical expertise, unsatisfactory outcomes can be obtained by simply choosing the “wrong” embryo or embryos for transfer. We in the ART laboratory need better embryo evaluation systems to reveal which embryo(s) is most likely to implant and produce a healthy pregnancy.
